The theme for our conference is "Giving Courage through Encouragement". But before we can enable others to find "courage" in themselves, or give an encouraging word to someone else, you need to first have developed your own courage by living a principle centered life. Having taught Dr. Stephen Covey's concepts presented in the 7 habits of Highly Effective People for many years, Tom will lead you thru concepts and principles you can use to first build courage to encourage yourself!

Tom is a 30 year Toastmaster who has served in all District Offices being a past District 54 Governor (now called District Director). Tom is a DTM, and currently belongs to 4 clubs in District 54. Having worked for several companies in his 39 year professional career, Tom has formally taught the 7 habits within his organization, and encouraged those he managed by purchasing this book for each employee, hoping to encourage themselves first from within. Come see how you can go about building a strong character base , through basic principles of living - thus allowing yourself to more effectively influence others, by attending Tom's session, "Finding the Courage to Encourage Yourself"!
